Prioritize the Bust: For strapless, halter, or fitted bodices (like Bodycon or Mermaid styles), the Bust and Waist measurements are critical. If the customer's bust is between sizes, they should generally size up.
Prioritize the Waist: For A-Line, Fit-and-Flare, and Empire Waist styles, the Waist measurement is the most critical. The hip measurement matters less as the fabric flares out below the waist.
Prioritize the Hips: For Shift, Sheath, or straight-cut dresses, the Hip measurement must have enough room. If the customer's hips are significantly larger than their bust/waist, they should size to fit their hips and have the top tailored down if needed.
